New release from Martha's Vineyard.

"We feel terrible about those involved in the worst earthquake to hit the East Coast in the last 35 years.  We sympathies with those middle class Folks that are the hardest hit by this tragedy and will do everything possible to help those folks that need it so much.  But you must remember I inherited this mess,  it is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to bed.  (sorry Michelle).  We have to come up with a balanced plan to meet these new challenges head on.  And we will do this.  We can not allow a small minority in congress to dictate the hard line to the rest of the country........................................."

Thank you, Good Nite and God Bless America.

Oh those poor people, I heard that relief efforts have been set up and the first truckloads of Napa Valley's finest Cabernet and Petrossian Caviar were being shipped this morning.

Sheesh - there were three earthquakes, including a 5.2, on the Colorado/New Mexico border a few hours before the Mineral, Virginia quake.

Just as unusual - and undamaging, although "felt" for hundreds of miles - but only a two sentence footnote on the "news" locally.

I think Gaia is just getting a bit bothered by all the oil/gas drilling, and the lowered water levels in the aquifers, and is shifting while adjusting her foundation garments.

1. More coverage on the quake in NYC than Mineral, Reston, D.C., which should conclude for all the debate on the true location of the "epicenter of the World."

2. Once Gaia is done adjusting her Spanx, better watch out!  I do believe there is some "smiting" in order.  It IS the height of hurricane season, y'know.
