Is there some magic aura that shines out of photographers for cops to see - so that they can tell a terrorist from a non-terrorist?

What is it about the U.S. Constitution that you don't understand?

I understand the U.S. Constitution, as I've exemplified for more than ten years on this and previous forums.

That some transportation cops in Baltimore overreacted doesn't mean that they were "MAKING UP THE LAW AS THEY GO ALONG", or that the U.S. Constitution is being undermined by their actions.

The photographer's statement that the First Amendment guarantees him a right to photograph anything he wants from a public roadway demonstrates that he doesn't understand the Constitution; and his indignation is as much an overreaction as was the cops'.

Excellent portal to First Amendment lawsuits, decisions, discussions:

Specifically on photographing from public roadways:

There are published documents of photographers rights. My copies are jpg files too large to post within the artificially imposed limits of this forum and if I size them to meet Guido's rules you couldn't read them.
The photographer in this case was right, the cops weren't.
